How do I download a file another user shared with me to my local device or PC?

To download a shared file to your local device or PC, follow these steps:

To download using Mac or Windows, view the Loop you with to download a file from. Next, click the file to view its preview. Next, click the overflow menu button and click “Export to Downloads”. Open a Finder or Windows Explorer window and navigate to the default downloads directory to view the downloaded file.

To download using an iOS device, view the Loop you with to download a file from. Next, tap on a photo or video to view its preview. Next, tap the overflow menu button and tap “Export”, then the iOS Share Sheet appears. Tap “Save Image” or “Save Video” to save the file to your iOS device, then go to your Photos app to view the downloaded file. To download a shared document that isn't a photo or video, tap the file to view its preview. Next, tap the overflow menu button, tap “Export”, and choose “Mail”.  Email the file to yourself and download it manually from your email program. 

To download using an Android device, view the Loop you with to download a file from. Next, tap the file to view its preview. Next, tap the overflow menu button and tap “Save item to device" - your downloads will be stored in the same folder directory as "Camera", "Screenshots", "Movies", etc. in a folder named "Upthere Home".  See the video demo below for details:
